THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS,
BUT TODAY WE ARE GOING TO FOCUS ON
SCHOLARSHIPS & FAFSA!
SO WHAT IS A SCHOLARSHIP YOU MAY BE ASKING?
A scholarship is an award of financial aid for a student to further their education at a private or public post-secondary college, university, or other academic institution.
There are multiple types of scholarships available to students, here are a few:
1. Academic Scholarships:
These are awarded by the college or university.
They are generally based on your GPA and or ACT Score.
2. Private Scholarships:
These may be offered by nonprofit organizations, individuals, government agencies,
foundations (including university foundations), and a number of other sources.
3.Athletic Scholarships:
An athletic scholarship is an amount of financial aid awarded to a student-athlete from the college athletic department. These athletic scholarships are awarded based on the student’s athletic abilities and how they can contribute to the team. A coach decides who receives scholarships and how much they are awarded.
